 In this talk John will discuss his experiences with Windows Phone 7 development on an applcation that he created call tivs (http://www.ironicname.ca/). John will talk a bit about the phone architecture, the marketplace and publishing apps, developer tools and how to get started. John will also discuss some of the features of the developer platform that he used in building his application. 

 Speaker Bio:

John has been a developer for over 10 years and currently works for Q1 Labs. Professionally he has focused on Web UI Development supporting Java based applications and has recently taken over the role of Qmmunity Content Manager. During his 'spare' time he is an avid gamer and has recently entered into mobile development, focusing on the Windows Phone platform.  He can be found on twitter at @wildbohr
