Tech Lightning Talks
Please register online, but you don't need to bring your ticket.
6:30pm - 9:00pm (Planet Hatch - 50 Crowther Lane, Knowledge Park, Fredericton)
Topic: Tech Lightning Talks
We are interested in what interests you, and we would love for you to take 3 to 10 minutes to talk to the group about it.
As a speaker, you can use whatever technique you like to deliver the information on a programming or technology topic that you are passionate about or interested in. Delivery techniques can be lightning talk, pecha kucha or Ignite as long as you don't kill us with slides and don't go over your time.
This will be a different type of event than usual. Rather than listening to one topic for the evening, we hope to fill the evening up with a bunch of presentations on a diverse range of programming/technology related topics.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a topic, a sentence to describe it with a brief bio and we will fit you in. If we find that a topic is taken, then we will let you know or change the order. We will also try to keep the website up to date with the latest submissions. This is for fun, but google lightning talk or the other methods for tips on how to deliver an effective short presentation. This is going to be awesome!
So far we have the following topics:
- Twilio - Matt Simms
- Amazon Web Services Opworks - Jason Row
- Polymer - Nick Fitzpatrick
- Nodejs - Robin Monks
- Unity3d - Jonathan O'Donnell
- Sails.js - Sam Stiles
- NoSQL - Chintan Barad
- SomeAwesomeTopic - YourNameHere
Special thanks to Planet Hatch for donating the space for this event. You folks are awesome!
