The best Windows 8 and Phone apps are connected to the cloud. In this presentation you will see how to use Windows Azure Mobile Services to add structured storage, integrated authentication and even Push Notifications to your Windows 8 App or Windows Phone 8 app in minutes.

FYI - You are not limited to using Win8/Phone with Azure Mobile Services.  You can use anything really, ios, android, etc. AMS is a backend as a service. You can incorporate structured storage, user authentication and push notifications in minutes.

Speaker Bio:

John has been a developer for over 10 years and currently works for IBM. Professionally he has focused on Web UI Development supporting Java based applications and is the User Experience Lead for QRadar Products. During his 'spare' time he is an avid gamer and dabbles in mobile development, with a focus on the Windows Phone platform.  He can be found on twitter at @wildbohr
